YOUTH PROGRAMS orchestra@azperformingarts.org
Golden Corridor Youth Orchestra is a string performance ensemble. We will be adding wind instruments this year with students from St. Anthony’s Advanced Band and students from around the county. If you are a brass, woodwind or percussion player and interested in joining please submit your name and contact information. Oboe, Bassoon and French Horn students are strongly encouraged to sign up. Students improve their musicianship while refining their ensemble and performance skills with regular scheduled clinics by qualified area musicians and by preparing great masterworks for concert presentation. Placement is determined solely by the musicianship demonstrated at audition and is at the discretion of the conductors. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm weekly August through May.
Date and Time: Thursdays from 4:30pm to 6:00pm beginning Thursday, August 10th, 2010
Location: St. Anthony of Padua School at 501 E. Second Street, Casa Grande in the Band Room 11.

Chamber Ensembles: A chamber ensemble is a smaller group of musicians. This is an auditioned group.
ADULT PROGRAMS orchestra@azperformingarts.org
Golden Corridor Adult Orchestra is a string performance ensemble open to high school students and adults. We welcome all players from around the county and currently represent the communities of Casa Grande, Coolidge, Eloy, Arizona City, Maricopa and Apache Junction. We do have participants who reside in Maricopa County as well. Now in our third full season we are growing both in numbers and musically.
The primary focus of this group is to provide a joyous opportunity for musical expression and to promote the performing arts in our communities and schools. One major commitment in conjunction with this symphony is presenting programs to our schools throughout Pinal County.
Education is our primary objective!
The adult orchestra rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm weekly September through May in Casa Grande.
Date and Time: Thursdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm beginning Thursday, September 9th, 2010
Location: St. Anthony of Padua School at 501 E 2nd Street, Casa Grande, AZ

As a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting the performing arts within our communities of Pinal County. We as musicians within each of our communities in Pinal County have a unique and vital role, a role that is effective and vibrant if we consolidate our resources and work together. We will shape our future and build a quality performing arts center together, impact and educate future generations to appreciate and support the arts.
Golden Corridor Chamber Ensembles
What a great way to showcase Pinal County’s talented musicians! As a member of the Golden Corridor Symphony other ensembles will be formed to promote the performing arts though concerts, school presentations and fundraising opportunities.
